Description:
The Stratos 2560 Center Console is an exceptional offshore fishing machine. She is tough, with a Kevlar hull, loaded with gear and ready to go. The Stratos has plenty of room to fish and do double duty as a family boat. Easy water access with the top of the line dive ladder mounted in engine well. There is a Clarion stereo for entertainment or mood setting should the need arise.
Equipment includes stainless steel bow rails, huge cockpit with room for lounge chairs when not fishing. The console hold a marine head, always a welcome addition. The head area has room to change and store plenty of gear. A Danforth anchor is mounted on the integral bow pulpit and is rigged with chain and rode. A cockpit wash down keeps things clean.
The electronics are high quality, Furuno Radar, Garmin GPS/plotter, Furuno Color Fish Finder and a Standard Horizon VHF. The helm is well laid out, electronics box overhead and more protected space on the console. It is all covered by a large T-top that is in good condition. Bennett trim tabs maximize speed, efficiency and ride. There is a magnetic compass also. A nice leaning post is at the helm with rod and drink holders. The cockpit has padded coamings. The forward seating will double as a raised casting platform.
For the fisherman, 16 vertical rod holders, plus 6 under the gunnel. A 25 gallon bait well, a couple of big fish boxes in the cockpit sole and several other storage compartments forward on the raised bow seating. There is also a lockable cockpit stowage area. A bait prep station is aft. Outriggers are mounted on the T-top.
Power is from a pair of 150 HP Evinrude Ficht engines. Only 60 hours on rebuilt power heads. Cruise will be in the 30 knot range and top speed will be 45 knots. The Stratos hull is well designed and very solid for a great ride. Dual batteries and fuel filters are a\easily reached for service. She carries 200 gallons of fuel so you can fish the weekend away without having to run to the fuel dock.
